PMF Online

Being notes on the local distribution of species occurring in the neighbourhood of Plymouth, including some other records of species found on the south coasts of Devon and Cornwall and the adjacent offshore waters of the English Channel.


The 1957 edition of the PMF has been scanned with text recognition software and made available in Portable Document Format (PDF).  This enables chapters of the PMF to be searched and downloaded as required.  However, inorder to access the PDF files it is necessary to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Searches can be made within the PDF files by selecting the search button (Binoculars) from the tool bar, enter search term and click 'find'.  All occurrences of that term will then be found within the PDF document in question.
